Liam
Liam Evans is an Associate at Quicker Law, dedicated to assisting clients in protecting their innovations and navigating the intricacies of the patent process. He specializes in patent prosecution for both domestic and international clients and provides guidance on intellectual property matters across a variety of industries, including medical devices, materials, and consumer products.
Before joining Quicker Law, Liam worked as a registered patent agent for several years, where he prepared office action responses, drafted patent applications, and provided strategic advice on patent-related issues. This experience gave him a comprehensive understanding of both IP prosecution and litigation, enabling him to provide thorough support to clients and ensure robust protection of their intellectual property assets. Additionally, Liam collaborates closely with mentors in the Atlanta IP community and has been an active member of multiple committees within the Intellectual Property Owners Association, including the European Practice, Next Generation Leaders, and Women in IP Committees.

A graduate of Emory University School of Law, Liam participated in the TI:GER® Program, a joint initiative between Emory University School of Law and Georgia Institute of Technology that focuses on technology commercialization in a multidisciplinary context. During his tenure at Emory, Liam won the Boston legal design challenge sponsored by Liberty Mutual and worked on complex patent litigation cases as a legal extern.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Connecticut. As an undergraduate, Liam conducted research at the Institute of Materials Science, focusing on drug delivery applications using a nanodisc platform.
