KATIE
Katie Newcomb manages the day-to-day aspects of the patent and trademark prosecution practice at Quicker Law, including the overall maintenance of client and vendor relationships, records management, and docketing. Katie also handles the preparation and submission of documents to fulfill all worldwide patent and trademark office due dates and related requirements.
Katie brings 20 years of paralegal experience in intellectual property to her role as Paralegal Manager and is proficient in knowledge of the entire IP process, including initial filing and formalities, prosecution, grant, and post-grant procedures for both foreign and domestic patents and trademarks. Katie has worked in several types of law firms, from small boutique to large multi-national, and gained a solid range of experience in juggling a prosecution docket concurrently with providing support for attorneys and other staff, and maintaining good working relationships with clients, third party vendors, and patent and trademark offices worldwide.

Prior to joining Quicker Law, Katie worked for three AmLaw 200 firms as an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Katie has a BA in Mathematics from The George Washington University and an MA in Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh.
Personal interests/hobbies
Katie is a former Jeopardy! contestant and current pub trivia host, but she NEVER gives out hints. In the rest of her free time she is a dedicated yogi, fiber artist (knitting, crocheting, and embroidery), reader, and cat parent.
